Like Windhorse, the transition of moving from one decade to the next carries a powerful momentum that brings us to thresholds of self-discovery. The transitions are wildly different in our 50’s to 60’s to 70’s. Yet in each decade we continue to revisit our identity, our relationships, and our legacy. By discovering our sacred wisdom we open up new pathways for action as a unique expression of ourselves in the world.
We met over 35 years ago as psychotherapists in the heyday of the Human Potentials Movement. To this day we continue our exploration of human consciousness, which has led to our creation of The Windhorse Center. Currently in our work, through the teachings of the Shamans Light™ Training Program, we embrace the indigenous wisdom of the ancient Andean culture and its role in evolving the collective wellbeing of our planet and humanity.
Located in beautiful natural settings that allow participants to leave the distractions of daily life behind, the retreats are experiential supportive, and allow time for personal reflection.
The Mentoring program is based in experiential explorations, and is offered in both one-on- one and group formats. The focus is on discovering the most practical ways to move through the inner challenges you face in thresholds of change for the decade you are navigating.
Having a safe place to explore questions I have quietly been wondering about gave me the realization that there are many others who have similar concerns. Many of mine turned out to be the same even though we came to them from very different places.
This was the first time I was able to focus on what I wanted for my own life rather than taking care of others’ needs. This experience was completely new for me. It was very freeing, something I never expected.
The information was really valuable and definitely improved my life. I went deeper and deeper each week into my own healing. Seeing other perspectives while having the support of everyone gave me different ways to think about my own life. Thank you for making it a safe place.
I loved that the conversations with everyone really enriched my understanding of the already valuable information the leaders presented. I appreciated the sharing and connections with everyone.
